Powered Rotor Assist Bed is a new innovative healthcare solution for patients, caregivers, and health care facilities. In addition to the standard positions of a powered bed (lying down, sitting up & raising the leg), the Rotor Assist bed can transform into a bed exit position to respond to the needs of user and caregiver. The bed exit position will enable and assist the user to easily exit the bed on their own while minimizing the risks. The bed exit position will also alleviate stress endured by caregivers when assisting patients exiting the bed lowering caregiver related injuries. The specifically designed mattress for the Rotor Assist will offer patients with a comfortable sleeping surface that also provides pressure ulcer prevention through patented honeycomb gel inserts embedded within the mattress (Shoulder & Hip Gel)
